Log Styles &
Corner Systems

The Original Classic Log is our most popular, but you can choose any of our 6 Log Styles. Choices include Original Classic (“D” log), Double Round Classic, Contemporary Bevel Log, the Double Four-Bevel Log or Notch Lap with or without chinking. Click here to see the different styles.

When it comes to corner systems, the choice is yours. Choose from the traditional Notch and Pass corner to Contemporary, Dovetail or Saddle Notch. Most corner systems are available in our 4 log sizes, 8/6, 8/8, 12/6 and 12/8. If you’re interested in larger diameter logs, check out our In The Woods packages offering 10”, 12”, 14” 16”, 18” and even larger.

Materials

We use only the best wood species for our log walls--Eastern White Pine. It's a superior insulator and features a straight grain to minimize twisting. In comparison, such woods as Southern Yellow Pine, Oak or Walnut offer much lower insulating capabilities and will shrink and/or twist to a greater degree than Eastern White Pine. The slower, natural process of air drying is preferred by most but kiln drying is available at no extra charge. Log packages are available in either random length or pre-cut and numbered.
You will feel confident knowing our package is the most complete anywhere! Everything you need to complete a weathertight shell. Lenders, and builders, prefer it.
